Duckie Pond!

You say "duckie pond" to Bella and she gets so excited! Daniel and I took her to the water park yesterday and we had a blast! I bought Bella a couple new dresses and she loves to wear them. She prances all around and it's really something because my husband even said "she really likes wearing her dresses." :) At the water park, she looks at the ducks but is more interested in the water and how it splashes. Too funny! Here are a couple of pics of Bella at the water park.

Christmas 2012 Sand vs. Snow

Christmas Eve we had Christmas in Santa Barbara with sand, on Christmas Day we were in Ohio with a ton of snow!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Daniel and I went back to the midwest to visit my side of the family during Christmas and New Year's. We took our Bella with us and it was her first time on a plane.  Bella is small enough that she can fit in a pet carrier and placed under the seat in front of us (where you would put your purse).  She didn't like the take off too much or the vibration on the floor from the engines but as usual she never barked or cried she just looked at us.  We took her out of her pet carrier and placed her on our lap and put a blanket on top.  Bella is a service dog so she is technically allowed out of her carrier but we don't like taking advantage.  Everyone back home loved her!  We saw my Dad, my sister Lana and my best friend Katerina and her husband Bernard and their daughter who is our beautiful niece Marlie.  We also saw almost my entire family -- my cousin Carol and her boyfriend Kerry (who has the same taste in beer as my husband!) and their children and their children's children!  Such a huge extended family!! I also got to see my good friend Drema -- who I hadn't seen in years!  It was so good to see her!!  My cousin Shannon drove from West Virginia to see us -- that was such a surprise and it was so good to see her too!  I really needed to get back home to family.  It fills your heart and I love to introduce my husband to everyone :)  I hope everyone has a great New Year with much love and happiness!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Daniel and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and we had a lot of fun!  We went walking to walk off Thanksgiving dinner at Coldwater Canyon Creek -- and Bella actually walked.  Bella does not like to walk at all as a matter-of-fact if there is a lot of dirt, she won't walk.  There was a lot of dirt on the dog path we walked on Thanksgiving and Daniel ended up carrying her the entire way! Daniel did get Bella to walk across a log which she did for the first time but she will do anything her Daddy asked her to do :)  She is so attached to him!  I am so thankful for my family :)

Bye Bye Turtle and happy life :)

Daniel found a turtle behind a fence without any water in sight so he took it home and put it in our guest bathroom in the tub.  Bella, still being a puppy and a city girl, had never seen a turtle before and she thought it was the coolest thing ever! Especially since it was a day before her birthday she thought it was her birthday present! LOL  Daniel was so good in being patient with Bella to make sure she didn't get scared.  Also, we didn't let her touch it because they carry salmonella.  Well today my husband took the turtle to a pond where he can live happy with his friends :)  We have a bummed out puppy right now though!

Here are a couple of pics from Bella's birthday on October 25.  We had a blast with her.  We took her for a walk up and down Rodeo Drive -- we can only window-shop since we are poor :( We then took Bella to Sprinkles Cupcakes -- these cupcakes are amazing and they installed a 24-hour "ATM"-like machine so you can get their famous cupcakes 24/7!  We got adult cupcakes and Bella got her "dogie cupcake" out of the ATM machine because we had to try out the machine.  We got home and I was busy taking pictures and Bella was busy eating her cupcake -- she ate her entire cupcake in a few swallows and she even ate the paper around the cupcake!  Silly girl :)  She never eats that quickly for she is quite the picky eater and she is very delicate.  But a good time had by all the Ramsey family :)  Happy birthday our little princess!!

Bella turns 2 years old today and we love her so much! Daniel brought home a turtle and Bella couldn't be more intrigued with it -- super cute!

Daniel and I went on a ten mile hike today. That was a lot of walking! We came home and Bella cuddled up next to us and we took this pic of her. Too cute! :) Bella usually doesn't like her picture being taken but I insist and today she posed.

Bella is totally in love with her Daddy! She also looks like a stuffed animal - our pretty little bean trying to blow kisses at me like her Daddy is :)

Las Vegas

Daniel and I had an awesome time recently in Las Vegas with our puppy Bella! We stayed in a pet-friendly hotel and they really are great with pets. We wanted to take a little get away to relax and go sight-seeing. There are so many pretty hotels and some our favorites are the Wynn and Encore. I especially love the butterfly theme in the hotel. It was really hot this time so during the day we left Bella in our suit which was okay because it was huge and we brought her favorite toys and blanket so she was all set :) The dragon is in the Aria hotel and at Jean Philippe -- that is where we got our wedding cake. The whole dragon and decorations are made from chocolate!

Happy Fourth of July!

Well, it's been a while. Daniel and I have been so busy and it's a good busy :) I never thought I'd be so happy and in love and it's all with my husband Daniel. Little Bella does keep us busy and she's turned out to be a great addition to our family and also more and more a Daddy's girl :) Bella follows Daniel everywhere -- it's so cute! They take naps together and Bella cuddles so closely to Daniel. On Father's Day, Bella got her Daddy some new clothes -- shorts, shirts which he needed. It was a great Father's Day and Daniel even cooked :D Just kidding -- Daniel always cooks because I really don't like cooking and he makes the most amazing meals. Yum! Today is the 4th of July so we'll see how it goes with the fireworks and Bella. Last year, Bella was still a baby and we also didn't hear many fireworks. Last month at the Tour of California, Daniel and I had an amazing time watching the race! Peter Sagan won five out of eight stages - incredible rider. We were in the lobby of the hotel on the last day and an impromptu party started to celebrate the end of the Tour of California and also Robbie McEwen's retirement (it was his last race). So many of my friends were there from tours past: Tom Boonen, Jens Voigt, Ted King, Matt Wilson, Vincenzo Nibali, Peter Sagan. The best part, is that Daniel used to race with Mauro in Italy -- he recognized my husband and they started talking. Small world! — also at the after party was Kristijan Koren and Daniel Oss. Wow! did we have a really great time and it was great to meet Peter Sagan, he has won two stages so far in the Tour de France -- good for him!! Also, I posted pictures of when Daniel and I went to view different day care facilities for Bella. Los Angeles has some amazing daycare places for pooches! Daniel and I that's important that Bella plays and interacts with other dogs her size. We have taken her to a daycare place in Santa Monica and she did pretty good considering she was separated from her Daddy for half a day! LOL I'll try and update my profile a little more frequently.
